he APBA Historical Society, Inc. is dedicated to preserving the history of power boat racing. Since being formed in the late 1970's by the legendary Bill Muncey and current Chairman George "Buddy" Byers, the society has been able to accumulate many items which trace back to the early racing days of some of the "legends" of powerboating.

If you need information or might have items of interest to the Society,
either by Email, or fax:

The home of the Society is in Eastpointe, Michigan, a suburb of Detroit. Starting as a small 1,200 sq ft plumbing service shop, the facility is now a beautiful 8,000 sq ft building situated on a well landscaped city block, easily assessable to the Interstate highway system. The building is shared with the American Power Boat Association (APBA) which is the oldest and largest powerboat sanctioning organization in the Northern Hemisphere.
